Inmate/Warden: Warden. Because despite his difficulties, despite the fact that he has the psychiatric problems that he has, he has always tried to make the choices that cause the least harm, always tried to be good, always tried to save people. He believes, down to his soul, that no matter how many mistakes a person (or demon, or whatever) has made, there's always the next choice, always tomorrow, always a chance to find a better way.
Item: His item is a cellphone, the one that Margo got him when he settled into living with her. It's nicer than anything he's owned before, since previously he was mostly just rocking whatever burner he could get for a decent price.
Abilities/Powers: Absolutely nothing. John is a regular 18 year old boy. The only thing he's got going for him is that he's incredibly smart and very very good at hunting down demons.

Barge Reactions: John isn't much for fiction, but he's kept up with a lot of it just to seem somewhat normal, so while he'll be a little surprised at some of the folks on the barge, he won't be particularly... enthused as a normal teenage boy might be. He's going to feel a little trapped, just because he spent so long on the run and on the road, but he'll be glad to have a consistent bed and food.
Deal: John would like to bring Marci Jensen back to life. Marci is the girl he fell in love with and who he was closest with, the one person who really made him happy. He'd really love to have her back.
